Thursday, 06 March 2008
The 2007-08 season is shaping up to be one of the most exciting years in Swain’s 61-year history! Putting the finishing touches on its expansion and renovation includes:

• TWO NEW TRAILS – Get Twisted at Swain and ski or board on Upper and Lower Twister! The intermediate “Blue Square” trails are wide, winding, and bank back and forth like a natural skier/boarder cross.

• NEW LIFT – Swain Resort is the best place to learn to ski or board in Western New York with the addition of a new Magic Carpet® surface lift in our “Learning Zone”.

Gone are the days of side stepping or climbing to take your “First Turns.” Now little ones to adults can step aboard our moving walkway to make their first turns their best turns!

• ZERO-G GOES BIG– NEW features, NEW rails, and BIG AIR highlight our completely redesigned Zero-G Terrain Park and Mini-G Progression Park.

• NEW TUBING CONCESSIONS – Gunny’s Gorge tubing park received a complete lodge renovation including a new ticket and concession sales area and indoor picnic area.

• PROGRAMS AND EVENTS – New children’s learning programs, peer coaching,  unlimited teen and adult “First Turns” beginner lessons, and theme weekends such as Circus Weekend and Hawaiian Weekend will make 2007-2008 a “can’t miss” season of fun!

• NEW LODGE COLORS, LOGO, AND WEBSITE – The package is complete with a newly painted lodge, a new logo, and this website with RSS news feeds for constant updates, photo and video galleries, interactive games, and a forum to post comments.
